Sarah & Brad Wedding // Longlook Farm, New Hampshire

I've known Sarah since we were very young. Her family were actually my family's first friends when we moved to Massachusetts from Pennsylvania way back when. She and I didn't got to the same school, but playing softball together in 6th grade created a lot of fond memories of her for me, so when she contacted me to photograph her wedding I was giddy. I knew she was a fun lady, so I knew her wedding was going to be awesome. I was not disappointed. Brad and Sarah have an amazing crew of people who were willing to work as hard as they could party to help their friends make the wedding of their dreams. Longlook Farm has a couple of barns, and a log house perched up on this gorgeous clearing on a hill overlooking some pretty quintessential New England scenery.

Sarah and Brad's wedding planner, Christina of Christina Donahue Events was whipping up her magic in the barn with all types of greenery and copper geometric pieces, some of which Sarah and crafted out of painted straws. Thrifty and amazing! The barn looked spectacular with fabric draped in the ceilings, and pieces of birch strung up along the banquet style table arrangements. I think I had a full photo shoot in that barn.

The first look took place among gate wildflowers, quickly before guests arrived, and the nervousness and excitement from both Brad and Sarah was so lovely to behold. The ceremony was officiated by Sarah's brother in law, and the little nephews played a very cute role throughout. Sarah's delicately planned vows were matched perfectly personality wise with Brad's off the cuff vows, both bringing tears and giggles from the guests and the couple. Skipping and dancing brought the couple and their party back up the aisle to start the lawn games and cocktail hour fun. The weather was absolutely perfect of a warm end of summer day to cooler fall like night.

The love Sarah and Brad have for each other was clearly visible in their first dance; so natural and so passionate, and it carried on through the evening festivities to the dancing when the tables were hauled out by guests to make more room them all. These people liked to party and I had a ball capturing it all.
