Liz and Chuck's wedding was all about their favorite things: Family, friends, doughnuts, pizza and Wayne's World. It was a crisp overcast October Day, a week past peak fall color, but the under growth was rich with color and softness. The Montague Retreat Center provided the perfect cozy scene for these two love birds to cozy up for a first look, portraits among the grasses, an intimate ceremony and then dinner and partying with their guests. Liz & Chuck's friends and family were all a part of the planning and designing of the wedding decor. One friend even made table decorations of old tattoo illustrations of Liz & Chuck's cats. It was all so super sweet and well thought out. Liz and Chuck were so gracious, and generous with all the details and plans they put into this wedding for their guests. And the guests gave all the love right back to them. Liz's closest lady friends and family secretly had been rehearsing a dance sequence to "Shut up and Dance with Me" and surprised her on the dance floor, that brought the bride to happy bouts of tears. Hillside Organic Catering provided the pizza and salads for dinner, and Adam's Donuts had dessert covered which also included two huge doughnuts for cutting by the bride and groom. They danced the rest of the night away, with the kiddos running at full speed in circles around the dance floor. It was so cool to see how close knit this family was, and I was so happy to be a part of their lovely day!
