I got a crazy idea in my head that I wanted to do flower crowns and a styled shoot for my sister-in-law for her maternity session. It being the last of her pregnancies I wanted to make it special to mark the occasion of ushering three awesome girls into the world. The day before I spent 5 hours on the flower crowns, and I spent another unknown amount of time wandering around Old Navy ooo-ing and awing over little girls clothes. I got some sparkly lights, some white sheets and some tacks and there you have it. The little girls were a little tired during the shoot, but we still got some pretties. Then I froze them all to death by bringing them out into the snow with just socks and short sleeves. It was warmer during the day I swear! Jenn was such a trooper, having out with me a little longer as we caught the last glimmers of sun before it set. Winter light is so short!! This began the many many photo shoots that I have had over the months of welcoming of Ruby into our family.
